The bistro bourbon had so many notes, spicy, sweet and savory!! I applied it to some salmon and it turned out wonderful!!
When I received the package of oil and this Smoky Maple seasoning, I ripped into them because I happen to have a piece of salmon that was ready to grill. No brainer. I drizzled the fish and copiously loaded the surface with the seasoning. 15 minutes later they were done and I had the best salmon tacos I've ever had. The flavor of the spice came through clearly and was a delightful alternative to the standard all purpose saltiness that is out there. The oil crisped up the edges of the salmon to a wonderful crunch. This made cooking SO EASY and wow, what a great meal
If for whatever reason you're not sure whether to add it to your shopping cart or not, I'm here to tell you to go ahead and place that order. It is so wonderful, whether on its own or in conjunction with their wonderful olive oil (Les Terroirs De Marrakech specifically). It is fabulous in so many things. Try it with peach & burrata, or drizzle a bit over cubed watermelon, or add to a bowl of macerated strawberries (to eat as is, over ice cream or yoghurt, or a slice cake), the possibilities are endless. If you're one of those people who shies away from using vinegar because it's too acidic, this one will be your best friend.
